My Photo is on an Airplane!

I’ve got some exciting news to share!

Back in January, I had a headshot session with Mr. Amelito Oronce, my client with a very interesting request. Qatar Cargo, the freight division of Qatar Airways, was holding a special competition to select a few of their employees and feature their face on one of their cargo planes! It’s part of their amazing campaign to feature their diverse colleagues that help make them one of the largest cargo carriers in the world. The headshots that I took for him would be submitted to Qatar Cargo for this once in a lifetime chance to be featured on one of their airplanes!

Fast forward 6 months later, and we received the news we were all waiting for: out of over 2,000 submissions, they chose us! I couldn’t be more happy and excited at the same time! Next step was to have the 777 put into a hangar for painting. And today, we finally get to see the completed project in all its glory.

Another cool fact is that they have the names of all 2,873 colleagues mentioned inside the word “PEOPLE” on the livery. Bravo Qatar Cargo!

As you can tell, I’m pretty proud of this achievement! Knowing that somewhere in the skies and at major airports, an airplane bearing a photograph that I took is being seen by millions of people. But of course, it couldn’t have been done without my client. Thank you Mr. Oronce and Qatar Cargo for this amazing opportunity!
