I usually respond to all requests within a few hours, before the end of the day. Any requests I receive later at night will be reviewed first thing in the morning.

Absolutely! Bring anything within reason that you would like to include in your photographs and we’ll try to incorporate it.
Like many others, I do use editing software to retouch and enhance the photos we take! Of course we try to keep it at a minimum to preserve the natural feeling of the image, but I can apply more intensive editing techniques if needed or requested.
There is a lot of behind the scenes work both before and after the photo session! The actual numbers of each session among photographers varies, but in general, the percentage of time when we are actively taking photographs is a fraction of the time needed for the preparation (lighting setup, test shots, communication with the client, etc.) and post production (image retouching, color correction, etc). There’s also the incidental expenses such as travel costs, various website and software subscription fees, etc. In addition, a 6% Virginia sales tax is added upon invoicing.
