I usually respond to all requests within a few hours, before the end of the day. Any requests I receive later at night will be reviewed first thing in the morning.

Here are some general pointers to get the most out of our session together, in no particular order:

• Make sure your clothes are properly pressed and/or ironed beforehand! Wrinkled clothes in pictures are a no-no and will require an additional retouching fee.
• Speaking of clothes, I would advise against wearing matching outfits, e.g. wearing similar shirts, pants, all denim everything, etc. I won’t stop you if that’s the look you’re going for, but it makes for better pictures to have variety and contrasting/complementing colors!
• I will make sure to share some ideas with you well before our session, but by all means let me know the inspiration you had in mind too! This goes for specific styles, colors, poses, looks, outfits, you name it! We can share Pinterest boards, share ideas through DMs or over the phone, anything that can help us capture the best pictures will be very welcome!
• For children, make sure they’re fed before the session, or make sure to have some snacks on hand! Kids with full tummies are more likely to cooperate. If it helps, bring a small toy or a tablet to keep them occupied when it isn’t their turn to smile for the camera. If they usually take naps throughout the day, it would be best to allow them to nap before the session.
• It is natural to feel nervous before a photoshoot, but don’t worry! I’ll make sure everyone feels comfortable in front of the camera as much as possible. It might take a few moments to shake off the nerves, but before you know it we’ll be having some natural ear-to-ear smiles all around!
