Anywhere you need me! I’m based in Ashburn, VA, and photograph destination weddings across the U.S. and internationally. Whether you’re planning a mountaintop ceremony, a beachfront elopement, or something entirely your own—I’ll meet you there, passport in hand.
Once we confirm availability, we’ll go over your vision, timeline, and travel details. I’ll provide a custom quote that includes photography coverage and all necessary travel and lodging. We’ll work closely throughout the planning process so I can help with location scouting, light planning, and timeline flow. I typically arrive at your destination 1–2 days before your event and leave the day after unless we discuss otherwise.
I consider anything within a 1-hour drive from Ashburn, VA as local and won’t charge travel fees. That includes the Hampton Roads area! Anything beyond that will be considered a destination and will include a custom travel fee based on distance, accommodations, and transportation.
My destination packages are simple: take the base wedding or elopement coverage rate and add travel and lodging costs. I book my own arrangements, and you just reimburse me via the agreed-upon invoice. Flights are calculated using economy class (not basic), and lodging is based on a 3-night hotel stay. Yes! I book my own flights, hotels, and transportation to keep things simple for you. That way, you don’t have to coordinate a thing—I’ll handle it all and include it in the quote.
Yes! I’m fully insured as a business and can provide a Certificate of Insurance (COI) to your venue upon request. My gear, health, and travel are all covered—so you can rest easy knowing you’re in professional hands.
You can expect around 50–75 fully edited images per hour of coverage, but I tend to deliver closer to 100+ per hour. All photos are delivered via an online gallery where you can download, share, and order professional-quality prints.
I require a 25% retainer at the time of booking to reserve your date. The remaining balance is due one week before your wedding. If you need a payment plan, just ask—I’m happy to work with you.
If something unexpected happens, I’ll work with you to reschedule if possible. Your retainer is non-refundable, but it may be applied to a future date depending on the situation. Travel-related costs already paid (like airfare or hotel) may be non-refundable depending on the vendor policies.
