Not everyone dreams of a big, traditional wedding—and that’s more than okay. Eloping gives you the freedom to focus on what truly matters: the love you share and the commitment you’re making to each other. Whether it’s just the two of you, a quiet moment with a few close loved ones, or an adventurous day that’s entirely your own, I’m here to capture it with care and heart.
As your elopement photographer based in Ashburn, VA, I’m honored to serve couples across Northern Virginia and beyond. Whether you’re saying “I do” in your backyard, at the courthouse, on the coast, or on top of a mountain—I’ll meet you there, camera in hand, ready to document every extraordinary moment. I want you to look back on your photos and think, “That moment—that was everything.”

Most elopements fall between 2 to 6 hours of coverage. A simple ceremony with portraits usually needs about 2–3 hours, while multi-location or adventure-style elopements may benefit from more. I’ll help you build a timeline that fits your plans perfectly.
Yes! While I’m based in Ashburn, VA, I photograph elopements all across Loudoun County, the DMV region, and seasonally in Virginia Beach. Whether it’s a city courthouse, backyard, or scenic overlook—I’ll meet you there.
Yes. An elopement is typically more intimate, spontaneous, and focused solely on the couple (sometimes with 1–10 guests). A small wedding may still be intimate but includes more structure, traditions, or a reception. I offer coverage for both!
With that said, the difference between an elopement and a small wedding has become more nuanced over time. Today, elopements are no longer about secrecy or rebellion—they’re about intentionally celebrating your love in a way that feels right to you.
Depending on who you ask, terms like minimony, micro wedding, private ceremony, or intimate wedding are often used interchangeably. Ultimately, what matters most is that you’re celebrating your love in a way that reflects your relationship.
No matter what you call it, my job is to document those once-in-a-lifetime moments with care—so you can relive the feeling for years to come.
Travel within 40 miles of Ashburn, VA is included. Elopements taking place in the Virginia Beach area are also waived of any travel fees. For longer distances, I’ll provide a custom travel quote based on mileage, accommodations, or special logistics. We’ll go over everything in advance—no surprises.
Absolutely! I love traveling for love stories. Destination pricing includes your photography coverage plus travel and lodging, and I’ll help you plan a stress-free experience no matter where you’re headed. A full breakdown of destination wedding costs can be found on my destination weddings section.
Yes! I’ll guide you through picking the perfect location and build a relaxed, meaningful timeline that gives you space to just be present and soak it all in. Whether you want mountain views or a courthouse kiss—I’ve got ideas.
You’ll receive an average of 50–75 hand-edited images per hour of coverage, but I tend to deliver closer to 100+ per hour. Every gallery is delivered online, fully retouched, and ready to download, share, or print.
A 25% retainer is due when you book to reserve your date. The final balance is due one week before your elopement, and we can split it up into convenient installments. Need a customized payment plan? I’m flexible—just reach out.
Life happens! If you need to reschedule due to weather, travel delays, or emergencies, I’ll work with you to find a new date at no additional cost. If you cancel entirely, your retainer is non-refundable but may be applied to a future session in certain cases.
